Today it's going to be a really long post . If you're lazy to read , you can look at the unarranged pictures , but there's captions there to help you through , okay ? :)
Anyway , today was the third day of The Islamic Fashion Festival Kuala Lumpur 2008 . There were three shows , and the first show was to award the Anugerah Pereka Muda , which is an award for the best young fashion designer . I'm not really sure who won , but I do know that their design theme was "Seductive Zulaikha of The Sahara" or something like that . Pics down there :)
The second show was the launch of Pink Unity , a group for moral support of cancer patients and survivors . There was a male celebrity catwalk show , with celebrities such as Awal Ashaari and Dafi walking the catwalk , with cancer survivors also given the chance to walk the catwalk , it was really touching actually , hearing how they battled and stayed strong and all that other stuff :) And this is when I realized that the Queen is really pretty O.O
Third show was three showcases and some speeches ,, nothing much . Showcases were good though . The theme was Bollywood night , and God , it really was Bollywood style . But not in a bad way , it was really nice to look at :) Oh and they auctioned off three dresses . I almost fell off the side of the place I was standing when I heard how much people bid for them . First dress sold for RM15000 , second one for RM10000 , and the third one for a impossibly expensive RM25000 . O.O
